Job Summary
Florida CraftArt is a statewide nonprofit organization whose mission is to grow the statewide creative economy by engaging the community and advancing Florida’s fine craft artists and their work. We are in search of a skilled office manager to join our team who will have a clear understanding of and appreciation for the role of Florida CraftArt in our community and statewide with a commitment to its philosophy, mission, and objectives. The Office Manager supports the CEO with all aspects of the day-to-day business of Florida CraftArt.
Reports to: CEO
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
A clear understanding of and appreciation for the role of Florida CraftArt in the community and statewide with a commitment to its philosophy, mission, and objectives
Day-to-day operational activities, including:
a) Accounting processes: deposits, petty cash, credit card reconciliation, website payments, transfers; monitor and work with a bookkeeper
b) Administrative support
c) Building management, including lessee management and oversight of maintenance and inspections
d) Business communications, including letter-writing
Corporate business, such as state licensing, tax-exempt forms, insurance policies, etc.
a) Database management
b) Gallery staff support
c) Human resources
d) Mural tours scheduling and management
e) Purchasing of office and cleaning supplies, etc.
Florida CraftArt Festival Administration and coordination
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
1. Experience working with nonprofit organizations
2. Strong capabilities with database and information systems software
3. Excellent organizational and time management skills
4. Business writing skills
5. Good human relationship skills
SALARY AND HOURS
A full-time exempt position with a salary is based on experience and performance.
