Program Dates: July 1, 2025 – February 28, 2026

Florida CraftArt in St. Petersburg, FL, is excited to launch the 2025 Emerging Artist Program, designed to nurture and advance the careers of emerging craft artists. Artists working in clay, fibers, glass, jewelry, metal, mixed media, printmaking, sculpture, and wood, have an exceptional opportunity to grow their careers and showcase their work to the community.

The 2025 application is now closed and jurying is underway. Applicants will be notified no later than May 1, 2025.

Program Overview:
Accepted artists receive a benefits package valued at over $1,000, including:

  • $250 honorarium
  • Business mentoring with renowned experts Duncan McClellan, Leslie Curran, and Jennifer Rosseter
  • A professional photo session with Brian James, including a headshot and photos of artwork
  • Invitation to a Write Your Artist Statement workshop
  • 500 printed postcards featuring artwork

As part of the program, artists are invited to a networking event to connect with former FCA Emerging Artists, collectors, and sponsors, gaining valuable insights to help build a successful craft career.
