We love our community! We love our artists! We love our volunteers and staff!
Due to the current COVID-19 situation, for the safety of all, Florida CraftArt’s board of directors has decided not to hold the 23rd Annual CraftArt Festival as a large street festival. The board is determining what methods can be used to most benefit the artists, whether it will be held as a fine craft virtual festival experience and/or a smaller physical fine craft show. Stay Tuned!

CraftArt with a Twist
We are excited that Florida CraftArt is going to be able to help artists by producing a smaller and safer version of the CraftArt Festival that we are calling CraftArt with a Twist.
Located just outside the doors of the Florida CraftArt Gallery in downtown St. Petersburg, the CraftArt with a Twist 2020 is a destination for tourists and local visitors to enjoy artful Florida Saturdays. Some of the nation’s best contemporary fine craft artists will show and sell their creations.
CraftArt with a Twist kicks off the Holiday shopping season and features handmade works in ceramics, fiber, glass, jewelry, metal, paper, and mixed media.
Local resident, tourists, and collectors attend. Produced by Florida CraftArt, CraftArt with a Twist is a contemporary craft show featuring diverse styles by 18 different artists each Saturday. Extensive advertising and social media publicize the event.
CraftArt with a Twist gives artists the opportunity to show and sell their work with no commission given to Florida CraftArt. More than 30 nationally known artists, plus six Emerging Artists participate.
Emerging Artist Program
Artists who have never had a major show or participated in an outdoor festival can apply to participate in the event as an Emerging Artist. They receive the following benefits:
- 10’ x 10’ tent, table, chairs
- Pro photography session
- Business and marketing mentoring by renowned glass artist Duncan McClellan
- 250 Postcards of artwork
