Florida CraftArt invites artists working in the mediums of ceramics, fiber, glass, jewelry, metal, mixed media, sculpture, or wood to apply for our 2024 Emerging Artist Program.
Juried artists will receive a package valued over $1,000 including a 10’x10’ booth setup, business mentoring with Duncan McClellan, photo session with photographer Brian James (professional headshot and photos of artwork), daily lunch stipend, 500 printed postcards of artist’s work, a one-year Florida CraftArt membership, and 100% of your sales at the festival.
Qualifications
Applicants must:
- work in a fine craft medium (ceramics, fiber, glass, jewelry, metal, mixed media, sculpture, and/or wood)
- be at the beginning of their professional art career
- not have participated in a fine art festival or have had a solo show (excluding university shows)
- be a Florida resident (at least 6 months of the year)
How to Apply
- Download and complete the application
- Submit 3-10 digital images
- Artwork shown in the images must have been produced after 2022 and represent the type of work that will be displayed in the booth
- Images should be a high resolution, JPG format to clearly show the work submitted
- Include artwork titles on the application in the format Lastname_titleofwork
- Sign and date the Release Agreement
- Send all completed materials to [email protected].
