Ceramics on wheel
Tyler Jones is proud of being a sixth-generation Floridian. Raised in St. Petersburg, he has a deep understanding of the city’s culture, community and luxury living. With a degree in theater and fine arts from the University of Central Florida, Tyler’s professional background includes creative endeavors as a clay artist, teacher, business development for a renewable energy company, and a professional global real estate advisor for over a decade.
As a child, Tyler was inspired by his parents’ love of art and a Georgia potter he watched demonstrate on the wheel. Mesmerized by clay, he took a pottery class in college and never let go of his passion for mud. Tyler has served as Program Manager for Creative Clay, Director of Sales and Marketing, and worked in education at the Morean Arts Center. He has taught children’s art camp, workshops, given private lessons, and offered adult classes at the Morean.
As founder of heARTworks Pottery, he is proud to bring his passion to the community through his love of art, sharing that love by giving back a portion of every sale to Florida CraftArt. Functional, useful craft is what he enjoys creating most as it can be used and appreciated daily.
Tyler resides in St. Petersburg and is a founding partner and principal of Jones & Dunn Legacy Group of Premier Sotheby’s International Realty.
