Meet Amy Allison
St. Petersburg resident Amy Allison is a ceramist, company owner and interior and furniture designer. Originally from Chicago, Amy fell in love with ceramics and interior design back in high school. She has spent every year since honing her skills and continually drawing from new inspiration. Her ceramics artworks are distinguished by often being created and constructed in porcelain.
Amy and her husband own a creative company called “Soda DNA” that focuses on installation art using various materials and digital patterns. They have worked with Airstream Brands and were granted the permission to use their name for a line of home décor items that included wallpaper, textiles, art prints, and porcelain items. They also create home tabletop pieces.
A recent commission for a large outdoor installation granted by the City of West Palm Beach was displayed for two years in the Northwood creative neighborhood. The couple collaborate with architects and designers to help expand their desire for working in installation art for both commercial and residential clients. They are looking to prepare a line of installation pieces that would be sold internationally.
