and community at Florida CraftArt.

Sponsorship

Support our mission to fuel creativity, nurture talent, and inspire community.

Why become a sponsor?

Florida CraftArt is free and open to the public. We offer exhibitions, youth programming, and support the careers of working artists. Our Emerging Artist Program offers opportunities and mentorship to artists that are ready to take the next step in their careers.

When you help to fund an exhibition, you are creating goodwill and helping artists to make a living as small business.

“We provide opportunities for the makers and those who desire the connection to handmade to come together as communities.”

Kathryn B. Howd, FCA Past Board President

Founded in 1951, Florida CraftArt is a state-wide nonprofit organization headquartered at 5th Street and Central Avenue in downtown St. Petersburg.  We are a member-supported organization. Your tax-deductible membership and donations help support Florida artists!

220 of Florida’s fine craft artists’ work is presented in the 2,500-square-foot retail gallery. Seven curated shows are presented during the year in the exhibition gallery.

53,000 people benefit annually from the cultural programming that we offer at no charge, creating an inclusive barrier-free space for the community.

Contributions are tax-deductible to the extent of the law.

Join the Florida CraftArt Community

Florida CraftArt is a nonprofit organization whose primary goal is the success of the fine craft artists in Florida. We do this by supporting the over 250 artists we represent in our galleries every year by giving them opportunities to present and sell their work, earning a higher commission than they would at commercial galleries. FCA mentors artists in marketing their work and themselves and provides low-cost studio space. Florida CraftArt presents eight exhibitions a year and complementary programs at no charge to the public, allowing for barrier-free access to the arts and an island of contemplation and inspiration in the heart of vibrant downtown St. Petersburg.

All FCA memberships include participation in the Southeastern Museum Conference (SEMC), offering reciprocity at 134 museums. Memberships that include participation in the National Association of Reciprocal Museums (NARM) receive reciprocal admission to over 1000 museums nationwide.

Artist Plus memberships enjoy artist spotlight postings on social media and in FCA enews.
